Where Is the Leak Coming From?
Door Seal
The door seal (gasket) prevents water escaping around the door. If it is cracked, hardened, or damaged it will let water past. Door seal replacement costs £60–£100.
Pump Seal
The circulation pump has seals that can wear and leak. This is usually visible as water pooling beneath the machine. Pump seal or pump replacement costs £90–£160.
Spray Arm Bearings
If the spray arm mounting leaks, water can spray in the wrong direction and escape through the door. Check the spray arm is properly seated.
Too Much Detergent
Excess detergent creates foam that can overflow from the machine. Use the correct amount of detergent for your water hardness.
