Check the Water Supply First

Confirm the supply valve under the sink is fully open and the supply hose is not kinked.

Blocked or Faulty Water Inlet Valve

The solenoid valve that opens to let water into the machine can become blocked with limescale or fail electrically. This is the most common engineering fault. Replacement cost: £80–£140.

Float Switch Stuck

The float switch detects the water level in the base. If it is stuck in the "full" position, the machine will not allow more water in. An engineer can release or replace the switch.

Anti-Flood Triggered

If water has leaked into the base, the anti-flood pontoon lifts and prevents water entering. The base must be drained and the leak source found before normal operation resumes.
