Clean the Filter Weekly
Remove the filter from the bottom of the dishwasher and rinse under a tap. A blocked filter is the most common cause of poor cleaning results and bad smells.
Top Up Salt and Rinse Aid Regularly
Dishwasher salt feeds the built-in water softener. Low salt causes limescale buildup. Low rinse aid leaves spots and streaks on glasses. Check monthly.
Run a Hot Descaling Cycle Monthly
Run an empty 65°C cycle with a dishwasher cleaner tablet every month to prevent limescale and kill bacteria in the sump and spray arms.
Clean the Spray Arms
Remove the spray arms and clear any blocked holes with a cocktail stick. Replace if cracked or corroded.
Check the Door Seal
Wipe the door seal with a damp cloth monthly. Mould in the seal fold can cause odours and eventual seal failure.
Load Correctly
Do not block the spray arms with oversized items, and do not block the detergent dispenser door.
